Word Processing Software
Word processing is a great beneficial in the
classroom. It is one of the most common for teachers to use. It has a lot
variety of template. To use word processing reduce a lot of time for teacher to
provide in the classroom, included bookmark, lesson plans, letters to students
and parents, schedule, assignment, and many more that relate to the classroom
and education.
Spreadsheet Software
Spreadsheet is sort of complicated if you are new to
it. It is very helpful for the teachers to use because you could add address,
grades, math and many more to help teachers organize, which I think that is
important. Spreadsheet has many ways to
organize with anything and include numerals. Teachers can use spreadsheet for
math to help students who need visual aids. Visual aids are very significant to
me.
Presentation Software
Presentation is the most useful in the classroom. It
is easier to teacher to create and work with the students at the same time. It
helps students to see and work through. Presentation
software can add image on the slides to help the students to see what teacher
means. Teachers can insert many things included images, movies, charts, and
many more for visual aids students.
Classroom Use
I like all three basic software. I think they all
are extremely beneficial for me to use in the classroom. It is kind of difficult
for me to choice the finest. If I have to, I would select word processing
software because it has many templates for me to create in the classroom. Being
a deaf person, I know how important to have visual aids in the classroom. I
would be able to use word processing to provide that. From what I have seen,
word processing will give me the ability to help students to comprehension the concept
of what I am teaching. It is not just benefit for me, but it is for the
students and parents as well.
I completely agree Margie! Visual Aids are very important in any classroom, but especially a classroom that includes children with any sort of hearing loss. The "basic three" softwares provide great resources for teachers when creating visual aids. The possibilities are endless really. It is very hard to pick just one of the softwares, but I also picked word processing. To me, it holds so many possibilities for its use, that I honestly think I would be lost without the use of it in the classroom or outside the classroom.
ReplyDeleteYour opinion on choosing word processing for the visual aids really speaks to me and makes me think about how I can use it. My major is also Deaf Education and I know how important it is to make sure students are able to fully understand the concept you are trying to teach them. I also agree that Spreadsheet can be a little confusing if you do not know what you are doing, but now that I have a better grasp on it, I love it!
